Lynn Clayburn has over 35 years of experience in the steel construction industry. Beginning in 1972 his career began as an apprentice iron worker to where he has been involved in every aspect of the industry from job site foreman and project manager to operating his own company. Lynn has been a senior project manager and job site superintendent with Sanpete Steel, but now focuses on coordinating efforts between our various job sites focusing on scheduling, manpower utilization and jobsite safety. With his abundance of knowledge and experience in both the field and the office, Lynn is there to make sure the work is done safely and legally, that jobs run smoothly and our employees have the training and equipment needed to perform the work safely.
As Operations Manager, Matt Taylor has 15 years experience in the steel business, including the last ten years with Sanpete Steel. With a unique feel for the business along with his varied experience, Matt is very skilled in running the fabrication operations in Moroni as well as spending time at job sites, communicating with contractors and subcontractors, and managing erection crews. He maintains daily contact with Kevin Burgess who oversees the fabrication shop’s quality control functions. During his career, Matt has overseen and installed many complex and specialty jobs. Thorough and innovative in his approach to solving fabrication and installation issues, Matt’s management abilities insure that the work is done right and on time.
